01About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Career Klub, a partnership firm based in Mumbai, India (“Career Klub”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you use careerklub.com, create an account, use our free resources, or buy a course, programme, session or other product.

These terms include our privacy policy, cookie policy, refund and cancellation policy, shipping and delivery policy and disclaimer. By using Career Klub, creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Career Klub.

These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. They are generated by a computer system and need no physical or digital signature.

02Who can use Career Klub

There is no minimum age to use Career Klub. If you're under 18, you may use it only with the consent and supervision of your parent or lawful guardian. By letting you use Career Klub, they accept these terms on your behalf and are responsible for your use.

To buy anything, you must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. A parent or guardian must make purchases for anyone under 18.

03Your account

• Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
• An account is for one person. Don't share your sign-in details or let anyone else use your account.
• Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to contact@careerklub.com.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, as explained in Suspension and termination.

04Free resources

Resources marked free are available at no cost with a Career Klub account. We may add, change or remove free resources, or make some of them paid, at any time. We don't promise that any particular resource will stay available.

05Your licence to use our content

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Career Klub content for your own, non-commercial learning. You may download files where we offer a download and keep them for personal use. Unless we agree in writing, you may not:

• share, sell, resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute our content, in whole or in part, including in groups, channels, drives or other websites;
• share your account or course access with anyone;
• record, screenshot for distribution, rebroadcast or republish live sessions or course videos;
• remove or change Career Klub branding, copyright notices or watermarks;
• use our content to teach, train or coach others commercially, or to build a competing product;
• scrape, bulk-download or copy content by automated means, or use it to train machine-learning or AI models.

Colleges, clubs and companies that want to use our content with groups can write to contact@careerklub.com about a licence.

06Paid products and payments

What you're buying

Each product page describes what's included, the format, any schedule and the access period. Those details form part of these terms for that purchase. Access is for the period stated on the product page when you buy. If no period is stated, access continues for as long as we offer the product.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR), or in another currency where shown at checkout, and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Once our GST registration is complete, GST will be charged as the law requires and shown on your invoice. We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place the order.

Payment

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, using the methods shown at checkout, such as cards, UPI, net banking and wallets. Razorpay's terms also apply to your payment. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password.

International payments

If you pay with a card or account issued outside India, your bank may charge currency conversion or cross-border fees, and the amount debited may differ slightly from the price shown because of exchange rates. These charges are set by your bank and are not refundable by us.

Order confirmation

Your order is confirmed when we email you a confirmation after your payment succeeds. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product was listed at a clearly wrong price, if we suspect fraud, or if we can no longer provide the product.

Subscriptions and memberships

If we offer a subscription or membership, the product page will show the price and billing period before you buy. It renews automatically until you cancel. Recurring payments follow the Reserve Bank of India's e-mandate rules, including a notice at least 24 hours before each charge. You can cancel at any time before the next renewal. Access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.

Invoices, coupons and refunds

We email a receipt or invoice for every purchase. Coupons and offers have their own terms, can't be exchanged for cash and can't be combined unless stated. Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy, and delivery by our shipping and delivery policy.

07Live sessions, cohorts and mentoring

• Schedules are shown in Indian Standard Time (IST) unless stated otherwise. We may need to reschedule. If we do, we'll tell you as early as we can.
• Joining links are personal to you. Don't share them.
• We may record live group sessions and share recordings with participants. We'll say when a session is being recorded. You can keep your camera and microphone off.
• Be respectful. We may remove anyone who disrupts a session, harasses others or breaks these terms, without a refund.
• Rescheduling, missed sessions and cancellations are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.

08Community and your content

If you post anything on Career Klub, such as comments, questions or community posts, you're responsible for it. You keep ownership of it, and you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it within Career Klub for as long as it's there.

You must not post anything that:

• is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or threatening;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• discloses confidential information belonging to an employer, client or anyone else;
• is spam, advertising or a scheme to collect other members' personal data;
• impersonates someone, or contains malware.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and act on complaints we receive.

09Feedback and testimonials

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything. We will publish a testimonial with your name or photo only with your permission, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

10Acceptable use

When you use Career Klub, you agree not to:

• break any law, or help anyone else do so;
• get around access controls, paywalls, rate limits or bot checks, or access accounts or data that aren't yours;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools, except standard search engine crawlers that follow our robots.txt;
• probe, scan or test our systems for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or interfere with how Career Klub works;
• create accounts with false details, or someone else's email address or phone number;
• misuse payments, for example with stolen cards or chargebacks for products you received.

11Intellectual property

Career Klub's content, design, software, name and logo belong to Career Klub or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond the licence above. If you believe something on Career Klub infringes your rights, write to contact@careerklub.com with the details and we'll look into it promptly.

12Third-party services

Career Klub relies on services such as Google sign-in, Razorpay, Cloudflare, SendFox and embedded content from YouTube and others. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We're not responsible for their availability or for what they do.

13Educational content only

Career Klub is an educational platform. Our content is not investment, financial, legal, tax or career advice, and we don't guarantee interviews, jobs or any other outcome. Please read the disclaimer.

14Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Career Klub available and working well, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering a paid product before the access period you paid for ends, we'll offer a comparable alternative or a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

15Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent the law allows, Career Klub is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or results. This doesn't affect any rights you have as a consumer that can't be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

16Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, earnings, job or business opportunities, data or goodwill;
• our total liability for any claim relating to Career Klub is limited to the amount you paid us for the product the claim relates to in the 12 months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000 if you haven't paid us anything.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that can't be limited by law.

17Indemnity

You agree to compensate Career Klub, its partners and team for any claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise from your breach of these terms, your misuse of Career Klub, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

18Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, or remove access to products, if you break these terms (for example by sharing paid content or your account), if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if the law requires it. Where it's practical and lawful, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Access removed because you broke these terms is not refunded.

You can stop using Career Klub at any time and ask us to delete your account. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as the licence restrictions, intellectual property, liability, indemnity and governing law, continue after your account is closed.

19Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Career Klub after that, you accept the updated terms. Changes don't affect purchases you've already made, unless the law requires them to.

20Customer support and grievances

For help with your account, a purchase or a resource, write to contact@careerklub.com or call +91 95572 03492. We aim to reply within two working days.

Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have appointed a Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it.

21Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a dispute with us, please contact our Grievance Officer first. Most issues can be settled quickly that way. If a dispute isn't resolved within 30 days, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the paragraph below.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer. That includes your right to file a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or to contact the National Consumer Helpline (dial 1915, or visit consumerhelpline.gov.in).

22General

• Force majeure: we aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, outages of internet, hosting or payment providers, government action or strikes.
• Severability: if any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• No waiver: if we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
• Transfer: you may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a successor if Career Klub is reorganised, merged or acquired.
• Notices: we'll send notices to the email address on your account. You can send notices to contact@careerklub.com.
• Entire agreement: these terms and the policies they include are the whole agreement between you and us about Career Klub.
